I’m an avid movie watcher consuming between two to three a week, one of which is in a theater. I’m originally from Lincoln, NE. How did I end up in Minneapolis, MN? Well, that is a long story better told by my wife (a.k.a 9to5 Poet).

I’m currently working on my MFA in Writing at Hamline University. I have completed all required course work with the hopes of completing the thesis process and defense in December 2008.

My first passion is fiction short stories and novels. To feed this passion, I created The Soulless Machine Review: Short Reviews of Short Stories.

In 9to5 Poet, I have found a movie watching soul mate. She and I have very similar tastes in movies, meaning that we will watch just about anything. She is a little more discerning than I am, and I actively seek out the bad and distasteful.
