I’m something of a professional slacker compared to my comrades here. I’m orginally from Littlefork, MN, mere miles from the scenic Canadian border. If you’re getting a mental image of a frozen wasteland eight months out of the year, you’re not that far off. However, I grew up in Uptown, Minneapolis and wear that fact like a badge, but I compliment (dilute?) my trendiness with nerdiness, which is still quite cool when you think about it.
 
I’ve known  9 to 5 poet and The Soulless Machine for years now, yet for some reason they still tolerate me. Perhaps I should feel a measure of guilt for the number of times I made 9 to 5 poet watch Braveheart in the theater. Nah.
