The wife and I hit the town last night and we ended up seeing Pineapple Express (Official Site). 

I have to say that even though I really dislike weed and weed culture, I really like movies by Seth Rogen about bro-love and getting high. I laughed and laughed and almost lost my shit when James Franco as lovable drug dealing Saul Silver put his foot through a squad car’s windshield.

I’m sure that if you like movies, you’ve seen the trailer and know what the movie’s plot is about (www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYg2EJLJids). But if you don’t, here is my take. A loser 25 year old that gets high everyday while driving around serving subpoenas, come the realization that, yes, he is a complete screw up. The also leans who is real friends are, the meaning of true loyalty, and how to use a semiautomatic rifle.

It could have been the stress, work is totally out of control (when I get done posting this, I’m going to read through some stuff that I brought home with me, and it’s Saturday), but I really needed a funny movie and Pineapple Express was just what I needed to relax a little.

I recommend this movie to anyone that likes to laugh.
