Balls of Fury (2007)

Balls of Fury is a crazy bad movie that only lovers of bad movies can enjoy. It is not worth your time unless you have about two hours that you would like waste.

Okay, so what was so bad about the movie? Where to begin? The main character Randy Daytona played by Dan Fogler is an over-weight washed up Olympic Table-Tennis hopeful that gets beat in the first round. He then resorts to entertaining casino goers with his antics.

One strange day, the same day Daytona is fired from his job, Agent Ernie Rodriquez, played by George Lopez, shows up to in list him in an under cover operation to stop Feng’s, played by Christopher Walken, weapons smuggling. It seems the only way to get to Feng is through an underground sudden death Table-Tennis tournament.

I have to admit that I liked the idea. I mean why not Table-Tennis? However, the hero is tubby hairy mess. To get back up to speed, Daytona undergoes special Chinese training that disgraces his master.

Okay stop, I don’t really want to waste any more of your time with Balls of Fury. Just know this, most of the movie has potential, but it failed. Even the beautiful Maggie Wong, played by Maggie Q, could not save the movie. Each and every time she kissed the disgusting Randy Daytona, I almost lost my lunch.

Well, nice try. I laughed, but now I’m laughing at myself for watching it.
